Where you'll be:
Rockport-Fulton is about 30 miles northeast of Corpus Christi (about a 50 minute drive). See map here.
You’ll probably want to fly in to Corpus Christi and rent a car. If you have more time, you could fly into San Antonio and do the whole Riverwalk/Alamo thing. (That’s about 170 miles from Rockport; a three hour drive).
The hotel and the hall are in Fulton; Rockport, however, is just a few minutes up the road (and is connected to Fulton with a hyphen).

How to get there:
From the Corpus Christi Airport:
Coming out of the airport, take a right and ramp up to 44. Stay on the 44 and get in the left lane to get on N. Padre Island Drive (aka 358). Bear right on 37 toward Downtown Corpus Christi until you see the exit for 181 toward Portland (you'll be going over the Harbor Bridge). Take this exit (which is a sharp left turn) and go over the bridge, headed North. Stay on the 181 over the causeway and through Portland until the highway bears left and becomes 35 toward Rockport. Stay on 35 through a number of lights until it ends at 3036 (Broadway). Take a right and you'll reach Fulton Beach Road, where you'll take a left. The Paws and Taws is a few blocks up on the right (the Inn at Fulton Harbor is on the left).

From the San Antonio Airport:
Get on the 281 South through downtown until it becomes 37 south at the intersection with 35. Stay on 37 South for about 140 miles until you get to Corpus Christi, from there follow the Corpus Christi airport directions.

(Of course, if you're the shortcut type, you can take the 756 to the east (just south of Mathis) and cut across to Sinton where you'll pick up the 188 and go until you meet up with 35, take a left and drive about 10 miles into Rockport. This is a good way to see the barren beauty of South Texas, but make sure you bring a map.)

Getting Around:
To get from the Paws and Taws or the Inn at Fulton Harbor to 614 Magnolia Street (Jim and Peggy's house), head south on Fulton Beach Rd. and take a right on Traylor Blvd. Take a left on Highway 35. Turn right on Nopal St. (near the Duck Inn) and left on Magnolia--614 is the second house on the left.
